The insertion aid itself has no thread, it has a connection point, that acts as a small notch in which you can put the jewellery.
The insertion aid is available in the following strengths:
- 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm
As soon as the insertion pin is placed on the jewellery, it can be inserted seamlessly into the piercing hole.
After insertion, the insertion pin can simply be detached.
The insertion pin is made out of Titanium Ti6Al4V-ELI (ASTM F 136).

Due to it's high surface quality with a ra-value between 0.07 µm and 0.08 µm, we have achieved an almost highly polished surface. This makes the whole process of anodizing the tapers so much easier. From now on you can use a colour code to distinguish the different sizes and thus simplify your everyday studio routine during the sterilization process. Measuring the diameter will not be necessary anymore, you can now start packing your items right away.
This insertion pin is ideally suited for use on internally threaded piercing jewellery.
The insertion aid itself has an external thread which can be screwed seamlessly into internally threaded jewellery of any kind.
The insertion pin is available in the following variations:
- 0.8 mm external thread with 1.0 mm thickness for jewellery with 0.8 mm internal thread and 1.0 mm thickness (30mm Long)
- 0.8 mm external thread with 1.2 mm thickness for jewellery with 0.8 mm internal thread and 1.2 mm thickness (30mm long)
- 1.2 mm external thread with 1.6 mm thickness for jewellery with 1.2 mm internal thread and 1.6 mm thickness (50mm long)
As soon as the insertion pin is screwed onto the piercing jewellery, it can be inserted seamlessly into the piercing hole.
After insertion, the insertion pin can simply be unscrewed.
