The insertion aid itself has a 0.5 mm thick pin, which can be attached seamlessly to a threadless jewellery piece.
The insertion pin is available in the following variations:
- 0.8 mm strength, for threadless jewellery with 0.8 mm strength
- 1.0 mm strength, for threadless jewellery with 1.0 mm strength
- 1.2 mm strength, for threadless jewellery with 1.2 mm strength
- 1.6 mm strength, for threadless jewellery with 1.6 mm strength
As soon as the insertion pin is attached onto the piercing jewellery, it can be inserted seamlessly into the piercing hole.
After insertion, the insertion pin can simply be removed.
The insertion pin is made of Titanium Ti6Al4V-ELI (ASTM F 136).

Because the insertion pin is made out of Titanium Ti6Al4V-ELI (ASTM F 136), the process of anodizing the tapers is possible. From now on you can use a colour code to distinguish the different sizes and thus simplify your everyday studio routine during the sterilization process. Measuring the diameter will not be necessary anymore, you can now start packing your items right away.
