With the stem-lengths 5 mm and 6 mm you can only use threaded attachments, as the pin of push-pin system attachment is too long.
With a stem-length of 7 mm to 10 mm, as soon as a push-pin system attachment is used on the other side, no more push-pin can be used. For reasons of space, only a threaded attachment can be on the other side of the barbell.
From a stem-length of 11 mm on, you can combine all 3 fixing-systems on both sides.
